Near-Death Escape For Lagos Transport Boss Owoseni ‘Worldbest’ In Violent Assault

Lagos transport union boss and hotelier, Hazeez Owoseni, popularly known as Worldbest, has reportedly survived a violent attack.

According to sources, the incident occurred in front of his hotel in the Oshodi area of Lagos State.

Eyewitnesses revealed that the assailants launched a surprise attack on Owoseni and his friends, using broken bottles, knives, and other dangerous weapons.

Although Owoseni and his companions managed to escape with their lives, they sustained varying degrees of injuries. Parts of the hotel premises were also damaged during the attack.

This incident is said to be the latest in a series of similar violent occurrences. The case has been reported to law enforcement authorities, and some arrests have reportedly been made.

While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, there is speculation that it may be linked to an ongoing power tussle over control and influence in Oshodi.

Owoseni’s family members and sympathizers have since taken to social media, calling on the Lagos State Government to provide protection for him and ensure that those arrested are brought to justice.
