Meet Fuji Stars Who Bailed Kollinghton Ayinla From Near Death Situation

It is no more news that veteran Fuji musician, Kollington Ayinla (real name Abdulrasaq Kolawole Ilori) suffered a near-death illness.

Insiders, however, revealed that contrary to perception in some areas, popular names in his sphere of influence are largely responsible for bailing him out.

Insiders disclosed that the likes of Saheed Osupa ( real name Akorede Babatunde Okunola), Pasuma ( real name Wasiu Alabi Odetola) and Alao Malaika ( real name Sulaimon Alao Adekunle) played frontline roles in providing much-needed funds for immediate and comprehensive treatment.

Those who should know disclosed that the reigning stars of Fuji music were like the front-line charge in making funds available for the treatment that returned Kollington to good health.

The funds they provided – an average of about five hundred thousand Naira (N500k) – were said to be crucial in getting treatment for Kollington who was in a near-death situation

“But they did it quietly within their circle. And inspired others to do the same. Many fuji musicians contributed their quota in getting the veteran back on his feet” according to those in the know.

Added information has it that, many of them including Malaika who has a couple of others like Kollington on his bill, have also been reaching out to make life easier for the veteran before now.

Kollington, 74, is one of the pioneers of Fuji music created by the late microphone wizard, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister (real name Sikiru Ololade Ayinde Balogun).
