Little-Known Mechanic But Famous Star Actor, Charles Olumo “Agbako” Is Dead

Charles Olumo, the renowned actor known as Agbako, has passed away.
The celebrated star, born Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, gave up the ghost on October 31, 2024.
He breathed his last at the age of 101.
The passing of the former mechanic and amateur boxer was announced by Bolaji Amusan, the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), who goes by the stage name Mr. Latin.
“tampanglobal announces the passing of Pa Charles Olumo Sanyaolu, fondly known as Agbako,” Mr. Latin wrote on Instagram.
“Good night, Baba Charles, a.k.a. Agbako…” another senior actor, Jide Kosoko, confirmed the development on the same social media platform.
A native of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Charles Olumo started his career in 1953 in Mushin, Lagos State.
