Insiders Tell Why Abiodun’s Top Man May Remain Decision Maker After Gov’s Tenure

There are talks that, there is a strong chance that master administrator bringing his wealth of experience as a successful technocrat to bear in how well the present government in Ogun state is faring, Tokunbo Talabi will remain in power after the tenure of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Talabi is the Sectretart to the State Government of Ogun state and like the Governor he is serving a second term in office.

Widely acknowledged as the closest person to the Governor in government, Talabi is affirmed as the heart of the touching lives initiatives of the Abiodun administration across different spheres, including provision of infrastructures and charity.

“There are talks of plan to keep him in government, in top level position beyond the governor’s tenure, to make continuity of purpose easier as his party works towards retaining power in 2027” according to words filtering out.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in charge of the federsl government is also at the helms of affairs in Ogun State.

Dubbed the man with the “master plan” of the new Ogun state being fashioned out by Abiodun in his head, Talabi has also become the go-to-person for the governor in interactions with many politicians in recent time Information here and there indicate.

The Governor is said to repose so much trust in him and that is what is driving his chances of staying on after the latter’s 2nd term.

Those who claimed to be conversant with the ways of Talabi, however, insists the claims are “just talks”.

Talabi and Abiodun are from the same Senatorial district, ruling out the chances of the SSG becoming the next Governor of Ogun state – thanks to strock adherence to zoning formula.
