Gboyega Isiaka, Segun Adewale Down Guber Ambition For Abiodun Akinlade To Emerge Ogun West Consensus Candidate

Early aspirants for the post of the Governor of Ogun state, Gboyega Isiaka and Segun Adewale have downed their ambition for another to emerge as a consensus candidate from their area.

The trio are from Ogun West ( Yewa axis) of Ogun state. And belong to the People’s Democratic Party.

The move is a ploy to merge all political resources in the area to force an emergence of an aspirant from the zone as the overall candidate of opposition.

All the opposition parties in the state are currently working perfecting details of an

alliance to overcome the might of the power of incumbency of All Progressives Congress Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

The Yewa people of Ogun West have being agitating for a chance to be Governor of the state for a while.

The adopting Biodun Akinlade is yet another push in that direction.

Meanwhile a group of Concerned Ogun West professionals under the unbrella of Ogun West Rebirth has commended the efforts and initiative of Yewa leaders under the chairmanship respected figure Senator Ayodeji Otegbola for the choosing of a consensus candidate.

‪Group’s spokesperson, Mr. Lanre Oyekanmi, disclosed that the people of Ogun West senatorial district of the state are at the verge of making history with the consensual adoption of Honourable Abiodun Akinlade who they described as an astute grassroot politician capable of delivering the much needed democratic dividends to the people of the state.

‪According to Oyekanmi, Ogun West Rebirth equally salute the courage of the two other aspirants from the zone, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka and Omoba Segun Adewale who they say fought the good fight in the spirit of sportsmanship, while calling on everyone to now join hands towards making sure they send the incumbent government out of power in 2015.
