Finally,Aremo Segun Osoba’s Supporters Back In Amosun’s Camp

Information filtering in to societynowng.com revealed that many of those that defected with Aremo Segun Osoba from All Progressives Congress to revive the fortune of Social Democratic Party have pulled out.

They are said to have retraced their steps back to the camp of governor of Ogun state, Ibikunle Amosun.

Osoba had left APC to boost his political fortune with SDP over protracted battle with Amosun that resulted in his being sidelined in party affairs.

His party failed to make much anticipated impact.

His SDP failed to win even a single elective post – while re election seeking political office holder that joined forces with him, including his son lost their seats.

His son was a Federal house of Representatives member.

The man he went toe to toe against, Governor Amosun went on to retain his seat – in a manner currently being contested, and his party secured majority of the elective posts available.

Insiders revealed weeks later, virtually all those that went along with Aremo Osoba to SDP have beat a retreat.

‘They are now siding with Amosun and praising his leadership style’ a source divulged.

Societynowng.com learnt the fact that Amosun’s political party, APC is now at the helms of affairs of the Federal Government greatly contributed to the return of Osoba’s supporters to the governor’s camp.

Digs by societynowng.com revealed theme ‘there is more to share in APC’ informed the supporters dumping political leader Osoba.

Additional digs revealed that the flood gate of return to APC was opened by the antics of Senator Gbenga Obadara, a supposed arch supporter of aremo Osoba and a leader in the SDP project.

The senator who lost his re election bid was one of the first set of loyalists to make a rapid return to APC.

‘The others with lesser stake just followed his steps’ an insider disclosed.

Many of the returned to APC street followers are said to be making a noise of it, in attempts to ‘position themselves for something..any thing’ societynowng.com learnt.

‘Remember most of them have turned politics into a profession…their decision was borne out of the fact that they coudn’t afford to be out of work for the next four years before another election’ an insider provided insight.
