There is a fresh revelation filtering from the political circle of Osun state.

Deep sources in the ruling All Progressives Congress disclose Gboyega Oyetola, the successor picked by Governor Rauf Aregbesola that is causing commotion within the party – and rising angst outside it – is actually a brother to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and not his cousin.

“They are half brother’s…from the same mother but different fathers and not cousins” an insider put things in proper light.

Oyegbola became a player in the politics of Osun state as Chief of Staff to Governor Aregbesola based on a directive from Tinubu.

He has obviously understudied running the government from Aregebsola from this “vantage” position through the latter’s two terms.

Tinubu is the political benefactor of the outgoing Osun Governor and more to Oyegbola.

But the political leader’s fresh directive that Aregbesola ensures Oyetola succeeds him as Osun Governor is causing a huge crisis within the Osun APC and rising resentments across Osun.
