For Senator elect, Kashamu Buruji it’s dejavu as anti drug agency, NDLEA serves him extradition notice!

The business man turned politician wanted in the United States of America was recently the subject of a 6 days house arrest siege by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.

The international fugitive had evade the operation launched as early as 5.am by the
Kashamu Buruji

NDLEA at Lekki Phase 1 Lagos residence by locking himself in his bedroom.

He stayed put inside his inner room for the six days period till his lawyer was able to leverage on paper work lapses by the arresting agency to spring him via court order.

The NDLEA after a brief resistance had obeyed court order and called off the operation to arrest him to go clear his name of indictment against him abroad.

He was subsequently placed on a 24hours surveillance while the anti drug agency returned to the drawing board to fine tune neccesary paper works and re tighten his arrest noose.

And on Monday June 1 2015, the agency signaled preparation for give the embattled politician a dejavu with the service of an extradition notice.

And backed by commendations from the Federal House of Representative through correspondence with Chairman, House Committee on Drugs, Narcotics and Financial Crimes Honourable Jagaba Adams Jagaba that it’s efforts would go along way in boosting the confidence of international community in the nation’s war against drugs and traffickers, the NDLEA appears all set to see through it’s case with embattled Mr Buruji.

How the agency will meander through the maze of legal obstacles the wanted politician is attempting to create with court injunctions remains a thing of interest to keen watchers of the unravelling episode.
