Dapo Abiodun In Disbelief & Shock Over Demise Of Oladunjoye
describing his passing as a terrible loss
Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the death of the spokesman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Tunde Oladunjoye, describing his passing as a terrible loss to the state and the party.
In an emotional statement, the governor said he received the news of Oladunjoye’s demise with disbelief and devastation, noting that the late APC chieftain was not only a loyal party man but also a highly resourceful and cerebral individual whose contributions to the success of his administration were immense.
“This is tragic news that is, frankly, difficult to fathom; one death too many, but still we acknowledge the sovereignty of Almighty God who has chosen to call him home at this time,” the governor said.
Governor Abiodun described Oladunjoye as a forthright, down-to-earth, and consummate politician whose commitment to his beliefs was unwavering. He noted that the deceased stood gallantly by every cause he believed in and served as a stabilizing factor within the party and government.
“As a party man and aide, Oladunjoye never believed in half measures: he went out of his way to defend the programmes, policies, philosophy and the image of the Ogun State Government under our leadership. He was an effective and highly accomplished spokesman whose brilliance was never in doubt,” he added.
The governor further described him as a voice of courage and the best spokesman the Ogun APC has ever produced. He emphasized that Oladunjoye’s tenacity, doggedness, and loyalty were instrumental in building the party’s reputation and advancing government efforts.
“Tunde Oladunjoye was a good man. He will be sorely missed,” Governor Abiodun stated, as he extended his condolences to the late spokesman’s immediate family, the Ogun APC, and his numerous friends and associates.
“Eternal rest grant him, O Lord,” the governor concluded.
