There is an ongoing brawl within investment company,Odu’a.

And at the fore front of the operations crippling development are the Chairman, Isaac Akintade and Group Managing Director, Adewale Raji.

At stake is the control of the institution involved in diverse economic activities which includes: Property Development and Management, Hospitality, Telecommunications, Printing and Publication, Agriculture, Training and Personnel Development, Capacity Building among others.

Information filtering in indicate the Chairman is attempting to take over the control of the entity owned by the governments of Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun and Ekiti.

Sources divulged akintade adopted an overbearing approach in his endeavour and action the man at the receiving end, Raji found distasteful and repelled with all manner of official engagements.

He reportedly told the Chairman point blank he is out of order and depth in attempting to take decisions out of his purview.

Sources claimed the situation has degenerated to the extent that the Chairman is attempting to use his influence within the board to unseat the GMD.

He is said to have convened emergency board meeting and at a point sidelined the company secretary believed to be loyal to the GMD as part of plot to achieve his aim.

The individual chose to serve as alternate secretary to execute the plot declined at the 11th hour.

Insiders revealed the growing feud as created increasing divisions amongs staff and other stakeholders involved in the day to day running of the company.

Added information revealed the situation is further compounded with open declaration against the GMD by the Chairman to unseat the former if he doesn’t fall in line with his dictates.

The Chairman, Isaac Akintade stated

“the GMD is not having crisis with me alone but the entire board members”.

When asked why he was intefering in the activities of the GMD, his initial response was, “are you a journalist? I’m the board chairman and you are saying I’m interfering in the affairs of a conglomerate of which I’m the board Chairman?

When reminded that it was the allegation levelled against him, he replied thus, “I’m not interfering in the job of the GMD, I’m only putting him through”.

On his part, Adewale Raji responded thus ‘all is well in my organization. I can assure you that I have a supportive board. The board of the company has been meeting as scheduled since I assumed duty and I have a good personal relationship with fellow board members’
