Bayelsa Tells Plan To Celebrate 5th Anniversary Of Diri’s “Prosperity Govt”

It’s five years of outstanding performance by the Governor Douye Diri-led Prosperity Administration in Bayelsa State.
Even the hitherto ardent critics have come to the reality that Governor Diri, has changed the face of governance with multiple projects across the 8 LGAs.
From road projects to other infrastructures in health, education, sports, ICT, housing, transport, and others, Bayelsans are appreciating this government that has displayed public accountability and genuine commitment to the development of the State.
Apart from several ongoing projects, quite a number of them are being lined up for inauguration during the 5th anniversary of this government.
The dualised Opolo-Elebele road, new dualised Road 24 opposite Prosco, several Internal Roads within the State capital and new dualised roads within the New Yenagoa City where the new Commissioner’s and Legislative Quarters have been completed.
Within 5 years of this government, many riverine communities have been linked by roads and some bridges built.
These critical road infrastructures have also reduced the travel time to several riverine communities.
In the course of the week, we shall release detailed list of projects to be inaugurated.
The good news is that Bayelsans are happy with the Prosperity Administration!
