Investigators Revealed MTN, Hope Foundation’s NMulti-Million Charity Fund Fraud Over A Year Long!
Fresh information made available to societynowng.com revealed- the multi-million naira charity fraud that earned the front person of Hope Foundation Nigeria, Mr Ola Clement, the accountant Mr Kayode Owolabi and a couple of others two days detention is a year long corruption campaign.
The accused were detained by operatives of anti corruption agency- the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Mr Kayode Owolabi was forced to resign over the issue.
Insiders now revealed to societynowng.com that investigators have confirmed the corruption rocking the charity fund as over a year long.
‘Obviously those involved were engaged in the fraudulent act for a long time- they perfected a supposedly fool proof process that allowed them skimmed money for the down trodden into private pocket…that is until whistle blower alerted the authorities recently’ a source disclosed.
Societynowng.com revealed surface scratching of petition sent by ‘concerned party’ indicted Mr Ola Clement and those detained.
New revelation unearthed information that contrary to earlier reports the siphoned is much more than the earlier reported figure of N500m.
Digs are on to determine the figure at stake.
Additional findings also revealed the E.F.C.C is taking more than a passing interest in discovery that ‘the bulk of the missing fund where from the coffers of M.T.N Foundation- the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of telecommunication giant- M.T.N.
