Rauf Aregbesola, former governor of Osun State and immediate past Minister of Interior, has unveiled a new digital platform designed to document his leadership journey, public service record, and contributions to governance.

Announcing the launch, Aregbesola said the initiative is dedicated to promoting leadership, inspiration, mass prosperity, and the preservation of the impact of public service.

He described the platform as a repository of the ideas, programmes, and outcomes that shaped his years in office, noting that it was created to provide a clear and accessible account of both the achievements recorded and the motivations behind them.

“This website brings together the ideas, programmes, and outcomes that shaped my years in office. It is built to serve as a clear, accessible record, not only of what was done, but of why it was done, and who it was meant to uplift,” he said.

Aregbesola stressed the importance of documenting governance experiences for future generations, arguing that leadership and public service lessons should be preserved and shared.

“Leadership must be taught. Inspiration must be shared. Mass prosperity must remain our collective ambition. Impact must be documented with honesty and clarity,” he emphasized.

The former Governor further disclosed that, the platform is intended to serve as a resource for citizens, researchers, and young leaders seeking to understand governance and prepare for future responsibilities.

“Ogbeni.com is my contribution to these goals. It is a resource for citizens, researchers, and especially young leaders who are preparing to take responsibility for the future of our nation,” he said.

The former minister expressed hope that the initiative would encourage thoughtful leadership, deepen public understanding of governance, and inspire future leaders.

“As we open this platform, my hope is simple: That it encourages thoughtful leadership, strengthens public understanding, and inspires those who will lead after us,” he added.
