It Was Free & Fair – Muyiwa Oladipo Speaks On Remo By-Election

Muyiwa Oladipo, former Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, has described today’s Remo Federal House of Representatives by-election as “free and fair.”

The popular politician spoke after casting his vote in Sagamu.

Remo Federal Constituency is made up of Ikenne, Remo North, and Sagamu local government areas.

Oladipo, who holds the chieftaincy title of Basorun, is one of the strong men of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the region.

“The election was free and fair, with late arrivals of INEC officials to polling units. And rains also disturbed a bit,” he disclosed after voting for his party’s candidate, Adesola Elegbeji.

Elegbeji casting her vote at Polling Unit 07, Ward 15, in Sagamu Local Government Area.

He expressed confidence in the APC’s chances of emerging victorious.

The much-anticipated by-election sees Elegbeji go up against his main opponent, Bolarinwa Oluwole of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
