And not just banking but one of the highly-rated banks in the country and reportedly used colleagues as real-life testifiers by turning them into clients (and later workers with fantastic salaries) and trumpeters of the “goodness of the fantastic returns” in doing business with Image Lenders.
2, The Image Lenders never defaulted in payment of returns on money put into his business no matter how huge. It was consistent in the payments of the stipulated 10% on investors’ funds and didn’t owe investors – and even workers – until the couple’s abrupt disappearance along with their children.
3, The couple played the proper religious card. They attended the right Christian ministry – Daystar – and publicly associated with Pastor Sam Adeyemi, the life coach who has mentored many success stories here and there. They leveraged associations with the ministry and pastor to shore up their credibility.
4, Everybody loves to identify with a success story and Bamise and Elizabeth lived their success story. They lived up to the expectations of their public in a manner that convinced investors their money was safe and others to invest. They moved to the “proper” neighborhood (in one of the billionaires’ havens in Lekki, Lagos) and vacationed at luxury spots to further posture the profile of the getting-it-right couple as Image Lenders grow.
5, They gave generous. The Image Lenders promoters are listed as generous givers to both the church, people, and different causes while the going was good. They were reportedly never defaulted in the payment of “religious dues” and were even “humble enough” to serve as workers.
