Nasarawa Moves To “Revolutionize” State’s Pension System

Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, has once again demonstrated his dedication to improving the lives of citizens by launching groundbreaking initiatives. Today Governor Sule attended the opening session of a one-day Pension Sensitization Meeting with key stakeholders at the Ministry for Local Government, Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs in Lafia.

This critical meeting aimed to educate stakeholders on the numerous benefits of adopting the Contributory Pension Scheme, including Enhanced financial security for retirees, reduced pension burden on the state government, increased economic growth and development, improved living standards for pensioners and efficient and sustainable pension management

By embracing this scheme, Nasarawa State is continually poised to revolutionize her pension system, ensuring a brighter future for its citizens. This move is a testament to Governor Sule’s commitment to prioritizing the welfare of retirees and the overall development of the State.
