Legendary Nigerian musician and King of World Beats, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, popularly known as King Sunny Ade (KSA), has dismissed reports of his alleged disappearance and mistreatment, saying he is safe, sound, and actively performing.

In a live video shared earlier today, KSA assured fans and well-wishers that he is in good health and doing what he loves best—playing music.

“I am not kidnapped, I am playing my shows,” he stated clearly in the video.

The 77-year-old music icon also took a moment to appreciate his global fan base for their concern. “My children around the world are in love with me, they want to see me. I thank them for their concern,” he said.

He further expressed joy over the continued love and support he receives, noting that his musical journey is far from over. “By God’s grace, this is the beginning of my enjoyment in music. I thank the whole world for their love as usual,” KSA said.

This public appearance comes amid concerns raised online by his daughter, Damilola Esther Adeniyi-Adegeye, who alleged that her father was missing and possibly being exploited.

With this latest video, KSA has put those fears to rest, showing fans that he remains active, vibrant, and in charge of his music career.
