How Temu Helped Local Lad Achieve Amazing Car Transformation

YouTuber Hood Stig pulled off the ultimate budget transformation—turning a beaten-up Audi into a total head-turner using parts from Temu! The car fanatic picked up a clapped-out Audi for £3,500 at auction—where most saw scrap, he saw potential. Armed with nothing but vision and a Temu shopping cart, he set to work. His first move? A total colour revamp, wrapping the old, tired black body in a sleek, head-turning film.

And that was just the start.

Next, Stig got stuck into the interior, fitting a flat-bottom steering wheel with a carbon fibre cover and upgrading the car’s play screen, bringing a touch of high-end tech without the sky-high price tag.

“All those Temu parts absolutely transformed this piece”, Stig said. “I was able to take this car to the next level and completely transform the Audi, and it cost a fraction of what it would’ve cost to buy a brand new RS4. I didn’t even spend as much as I would have on a second-hand version”.

 But the real showstopper? The “hornet eyes.”

Stig fitted yellow films over the headlights and black ones on the taillights, creating a mean, aggressive look that’s impossible to ignore.

“I don’t even know what to think, but I quite like how the film makes it resemble a hornet, which was the aim. It doesn’t look like a normal headlight anymore,” Stig said in his video on YouTube. 

He also made other modifications to the exteriors, such as installing wheel spaces to make the car look more aggressive and attaching oval exhaust tips, which really completed the look.

 “I put in 1,000 hours bringing it (the car) back to life. After a bit of perseverance and patience, things actually started to work out. Everything matched the theme of black and yellow, and the final result was sick! I was even able to race a friend in this car.”
