Finally Unsettled Gov Obaseki Moves Out Of APC

The troubled Governor of Edo State Godwin Obaseki has pulled out of the ruling party – All Progressives Congress.


Obaseki moved out of the party today, June 15, after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari failed to keep him within the fold of the APC.

Obaseki leaves the ruling party to seek re-election on another political platform after the committee charged with organizing the gubernatorial primary of the APC disqualified the governor from the process.

This development is fallout of loss of support from National Chairman Adams Oshimhole who withdrew his cover of the ‘’inadequacies’’ that denied Obaseki participation in the APC gubernatorial primary scheduled for June 22
