Ex Gov Ajimobi – Hospitalised & Battling Covid-19 – Can Not Take Up Appointment As Acting APC National Chairman

Though the National Working Committee of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC) has named Abiola Ajimobi as its Acting National Chairman sources confirmed that the former governor of Oyo state is in no position to take up the appointment.

Ajimobi is hospitalized – in Lagos State – as he battles to survive the poison from the fangs of Covid-19.

The condition of the immediate past governor of Oyo state is labeled ‘’not good’’ by those in the knowu.

His family and friends continue to pray his situation takes a turn for the better after days in ‘’intensive care’’.

Ajimobi’s appointment as the Acting National Chairman of the APC is as a result of the stipulation of the party’s constitution as a result of the appeal court’s confirmation of the suspension of substantive chairman Adams Oshimhole.

Ajimobi’s position as the National Deputy Chairman, South of the APC put him in pole position to become the acting Chairman of the party.
