There are strong indications that popular rapper Shola Idowu better known as Weird MC has changed her stage name.

It appears the voice that serenaded many with the 2006 monster hit ‘’Iyoya’’ (lets dance) now goes by the stage name ‘Deshola Peculiar.

‘Deshola is the slightly shortened form of her name ‘’Adeshola’’ while Peculiar is a slightly elevated form of ‘’Weird.’’

The checks by societynow.ng revealed that Weird M.C who loves to be identified as a ‘’Rappatainer ‘’ – a rapper that entertainers with her craft – made the change known with a subtle announcement on her social media page.

She posted the poster for a church program with her image and the name ‘Deshola Peculiar.
The female rapper that turned 50 this year tagged known artiste manager Joice Eze-Iyamu and fourteen (14) others with the post.
