EFCC Says Obi Cubana Still In Detention

Obinna Iyiegbu the popular name known as Obi Cubana is still in custody.
He was invited for questioning by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) yesterday, November 1, 2021.
He has not been allowed to go home till date.
EFCC spokesman Wilson Uwajaren confirmed he remains in custody and his international passport taken from him as part of the ongoing questioning.
The word about town is that Obi Cubana is being questioned on allegations bordering on tax evasion and money laundering.
His detention has sparked off all manners of talks with friends and family and fans launching a #freeobicubana campaign that has attained ethic colorations in some parts.
