“Your Wisdom And Courage Inspire Us” — Industrialist Abdul Samad Rabiu Celebrates Babangida

Industrialist and business leader, Abdul Samad Rabiu, has celebrated former military Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, describing him as an exceptional statesman whose wisdom, courage and service to Nigeria continue to inspire.

The champion of commerce , in a birthday message to Babangida, joined his family, friends, associates and well-wishers in celebrating the former leader, while acknowledging his contributions to national development.

“Your life has been defined by remarkable service, wisdom, courage, and dedication to our nation,” Rabiu stated.

He added that Babangida’s “enduring contributions to national development, as well as your generosity and commitment to uplifting others, have earned you widespread respect and admiration.”

The business mogul also spoke warmly about his personal relationship with the former Head of State, describing Babangida as a father figure and expressing gratitude for the bond he has shared with him and his family over the years.

“On a personal note, I remain deeply grateful for the special bond you have shared with me and our family over the years. Your enduring affection over the years has meant a great deal to me, and I remain sincerely grateful for it,” he further disclosed.

Rabiu, who is the founder and Chairman of BUA Group, is one of Nigeria’s prominent industrialists, with business interests spanning manufacturing, infrastructure, food production and other sectors of the economy.

Through BUA Group, he has built a major Nigerian-owned industrial conglomerate with investments particularly in cement, sugar and related manufacturing activities, contributing to Nigeria’s industrialisation and private-sector development.

Beyond his business activities, the master entrepreneur has also been associated with philanthropy and initiatives focused on social and economic development through the Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative, ASR Africa.

In his birthday message, the industrialist prayed for Babangida to enjoy continued good health, peace, happiness and long life.
