Found! Family Says Pa Samuel Adedokun Back Home
has been found and safely reunited with his loved ones
The family of Mr. Samuel Mojirade Adedokun, the 85-year-old Lagos resident who was reported missing after he disappeared from his Abule Egba home, has announced that he has been found and safely reunited with his loved ones.
In a brief update, the family confirmed that Adedokun, who had been missing since about 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2026, is now back home.
No details were immediately provided on the circumstances surrounding his return.
The family, however, expressed profound gratitude to members of the public, friends, neighbours, community leaders and well-wishers who shared information about the missing elderly man and supported efforts to locate him.
“We appreciate everyone for their concern, prayers, support and assistance. Thank you soo much” the family said.
Adedokun’s disappearance had sparked concern among residents after appeals were circulated across social media and community platforms seeking help in locating him.
He was last seen in the Abule Egba area of Lagos, near his residence at 43, Olawale Cole Street, beside Hamkad Hospital, U-Turn Bus Stop.
His return has brought relief to family members and all those who participated in the search effort.
