The family of Mr. Samuel Mojirade Adedokun, an 85-year-old resident of Lagos, has appealed to members of the public for assistance in locating him after he was declared missing.
According to information made available by the family, Adedokun has not been seen since Friday, May 30, 2026, when he reportedly left home at about 6:00 p.m.
The elderly man was last seen in the Abule Egba area of Lagos.
His home address was given as No. 43, Olawale Cole Street, beside Hamkad Hospital, U-Turn Bus Stop, Abule Egba.
In a public appeal circulated by relatives, the family said every effort is being made to locate him and urged residents to assist with useful information that could lead to his whereabouts.
“We appeal to members of the public to kindly share this information across all platforms and communities. Any information, no matter how little, could help reunite him with his family,” the statement reads.
The family described Adedokun as an elderly male of approximately 5.9 feet in height. He was last seen wearing traditional attire as shown in photographs released by relatives.
The disappearance has generated concern among family members, friends and residents of the community, who have joined efforts to spread information about the missing octogenarian.
The family also appealed for prayers and support from the public.
“Your assistance and prayers are greatly appreciated,” the statement added.
