Why James Odumbaku Is Treated Like A ” god” By Popular Prophet Israel Ogundipe ”Genesis”

The information available to societynow.ng has revealed the reason why Cardinal James Odumbaku is treated like a ”small god” by popular prophet Israel Dele Ogundipe.Ogundipe is the shepherd at the parish of the Celestial Church of Christ known as Genesis Global.

He faces sanction and doused in controversies for flouting the doctrines of the Celestial Church of Christ at different times, especially allowing Cardinal Odumbaku – another shepherd and a more senior member of the celestial church of christ fold – to sit on the chair reserved for the pastor at his church’s recent harvest ceremony.

In the Celestial Church of Christ, the Pastor is the spiritual head of the church worldwide while the spiritual head of a parish is known as Shepherd.

societynow.ng learned that the special treatment that Prophet Ogundipe, who is better known as Genesis, accords Cardinal Odumbaku allowed the latter to commit the ”sacrilege”.

According to information at hand, ”Ogundipe treats Cardinal Odumbaku like a small god of a sort based on the kind of relationship that exists between them and this rapport made it hard for him to correct what was an obvious kick against a major tenet of his faith”.

Providing background on the two shepherds, a source narrated ” Odumbaku is a major political power in Lagos state, He is a member of the kitchen cabinet of powerful politician Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. and he treats Genesis (Ogundipe) like a favored son.

”Their closeness started when Genesis (Ogundipe) had a major case with the police. A romance went sour with a woman based abroad who claimed Genesis (Ogundipe) duped him. The lady was hell-bent on jailing (Ogundipe). She had him paraded and subjected him to all manners of embarrassment. It took the political will of Cardinal ( Odumbaku) to bail (Genesis) out of the mess and secured a civil resolution of the messy case with an agreement by Genesis (Ogundipe) to pay back the embittered lady an agreed sum

”Cardinal (Odumbaku) took on Genesis (Ogundipe) like a son since they got closer as the years went by with the Cardinal evolving into one of the strongest backers of Genesis (Ogundipe) .”

Societynow.ng gathered that at a point the closeness provided the popular prophet access to top government officials in Lagos state and their family members, including the brother of a serving governor(now former governor) who worshiped at Genesis Global.

Insiders insist that based on this relationship, prophet Ogundipe was not in the position to ”correct” Cardinal Odumbaku when he committed the act widely tagged ”sacrilege
