The edition will be moderated by media personality and actor Tobi Bakre, and will feature a panel of accomplished female leaders drawn from different sectors of the creative and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Among the speakers expected at the session are leading entrepreneur and founder of ORÍKÌ Group, Joycee Awosika; celebrated media personality and digital entrepreneur Tomike Adeoye; founder of Fine-Funky, Olufunke Davies; and award-winning broadcaster Ayo Mario-Ese.
The speakers are expected to share practical insights and actionable strategies on navigating ambition, leadership, and growth in today’s evolving business environment, while also reflecting on the realities facing women who are building careers and enterprises in Africa’s rapidly changing economic landscape.
According to the organisers, the conversations will highlight a new generation of African women who are deliberately shaping their professional journeys and redefining leadership across industries.
Speaking ahead of the event, UBA’s Group Head, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Alero Ladipo, emphasised the bank’s commitment to creating platforms that spotlight visionary women while encouraging meaningful dialogue around leadership and opportunity.
“The modern African woman is evolving in remarkable ways. She is bold, visionary, and intentional about the spaces she occupies,” Ladipo said, adding “Through this edition of the UBA Business Series, we want to celebrate these women while also creating a platform where meaningful conversations around leadership, ambition and opportunity can take place.”
The quarterly UBA Business Series has over the years grown into a key knowledge-sharing platform where entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals exchange ideas on building resilient enterprises and navigating Africa’s increasingly competitive business environment.
With the special Women’s Month edition, the bank aims to further deepen conversations around female leadership and innovation, while inspiring a new generation of women to take bold steps in business, technology, media, and enterprise development across the continent.
Through initiatives such as the Business Series, UBA continues to reinforce its position as a catalyst for enterprise growth and inclusive development, providing opportunities for learning, mentorship, and collaboration among Africa’s emerging and established business leaders.
