Stella Odua Falls Out With Presidency Over Financial Misappropriation Rocking Jonathan/ Sambo Campaign

Sea Petroleum Boss, Stella Odua’s influence with the presidency is on the wane.

Sources attribute this development to a financial crisis currently rocking the re election campaign of President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo tagged Jonatha/Sambo Campaign.

Information at the disposal of www.societynowng.com revealed that the presidency is unhappy with the manner those in charge of the campaign are running it affairs.

He reportedly believes money earmarked for the projects are not being judiciously utilised.

Stella Odua is tagged as the face of the group’s leadership with the presidency.

She was said to be instrumental to the release of an alleged seven billion naira fund for the execution of the group’s projects.

One of the key objectives of the Jonathan Sambo Campaign is to engage in a nationwide house to house campaign for President Goodluck Jonathan and Vice President Namadi Sambo.

Informants divulged that the group was supposed to achieve this aim through the efforts of a sister organisation Door To Door, an initiative leisure boat operator, Tony Prest.

Sources disclosed that Prest and his crew had began a Door to Door Campaign for the re election bid of the president before bringing their activities to his notice.

The nation’s number one citizen was said to have refer the Door to Door Campaigners to Stella Odua and her group of Jonathan/Sambo Campaign coordinators. The directive was that they work together to achieve a common goal.

Investigation revealed that Ouda was said to have appointed a Mr William Ethan to act as her crew’s representative in the ranks of the Door to Door group.

For reasons yet to be decipher, Ethan later pulled out of the group and set up related group on behalf of the Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Organisation tagged Neighbour To Neighbour.

Like Door To Door, the objective is to do a house to house campaign for President Jonathan and Vice President, Sambo re election along with campaign materials and souvenirs nationwide- but unlike Door To Door the agents allegedly employed by Ethan and his group are not visible in the scheme of things.

This is said to be despite a three billion naira campaign fund immediately made available to Neighbour to Neighbour as a group when it kick started it operation. No more was reportedly release for Tony Prest and his crew.

According to a source ‘ the most visible activity of Neighbour To Neighbour are the massive adverts the place on Radios, Television stations and some newspapers and magazines telling the populace about the organisation and to vote president Jonathan Goodlcuk. Tell me have you seen any of their campaigner or agents in your neighbourhood canvassing for Jonathan?’

Further investigation revealed that Tony Prest and his Door To Door crew interpreted the formation of Neighbour To Neighbour as a cloning of their concept without recourse to credit. And a deliberate attempt to sideline them in the scheme of things. They had immediately lodged a strident protest with the presidency about the development with overwhelming evidence of their alleged effectiveness and incompetence of the new group.

Independent investigations carried out by the presidency had vindicated Prest and his Door To Door campaigners. Separate funds were said to have been released for them to continue with their activities.

Informants revealed further that Stella Odua and her group were summoned and told point blank that a thorough account of how the seven billion naira released to them was utilised should be made available immediately after election.

Divulged an insider ‘president anger stem from allegation that expectations are being met, funds are not being utilised for what it was earmarked for. But there is little he can do about it now. The election is at hand. The prayer is that he wins and he can then look properly into what went wrong, who caused it and what sanction to apply’

Meanwhile in a move to try to mask the anomaly on ground sources divulged that Stella Odua and her crew have kick started a more aggressive campaign for the President’s re election group.

There are also said to be talks of splinter groups trying to break away and work in the president’s interest in a manner that will enable the initiators justify funds that came their way and hopelly escape whatever sanction that might be in the offing.

With news of the news of the development making the round, sources alleged that Stella Odua appear to be on her way to becoming the latest pariah in the corridors of power at press time.
