Realignment Or Betrayal? Tinubu’s New Man Friday, Ganiyu Solomon In Quiet Visits To Gov Amosun

Ganiyu Solomon, the former senator currently very chummy with powerful politician Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is making a quiet move.

And it has attracted the interests of stakeholders, raising questions here and there.

Solomon who wears the tag of one of the main backers of Tinubu has been spotted making visits to the governor of Ogun state Ibikunle Amosun in recent time.

“I have seen him two or three times” a source stated.

Tinubu and Amosun though in the same political party, All Progressives Congress are said to be at odds.

The battle for relevance at the national level of the party and the presidency reportedly pushed them apart.

And the fact that one of Tinubu’s protégé is gunning to become the next governor of Ogun state- against the wishes of Amosun- is said to have further worsened their relationship.

However, with Solomon, a known ally of Tinubu making quiet visits to the Amosun, those in the know are considering the possibility of “an understanding for common interest” in the works.

With President Muhammadu Buhari seeking a second term, insiders disclosed all his men have been directed to put aside personal differences and work together for the good of all.

Some believe Solomon’s quiet visits to Amosun is aimed at laying the foundation for a truce between the governor and Tinubu.

But there are those who believe that GOS – Solomon’s alias derived from first letters of his names Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon – might be making a move of his own.

It is a known fact that some of Tinubu’s men are currently attempting to make it on their own by getting chummy with those against his interests.
