Pry School Teachers To Pay N10K For Promotion Ordered By Abiodun

Emerging details have it that primary school teachers in Yewa, Ogun state have been billed for the promotion exercise ordered by Governor Dapo Abiodun for all government workers.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that “those in charge” of primary schools in and around Ayetoro gave the directive to teachers.

“The fees are N4,000 (Four Thousand Naira) and N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) and 10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira)” SocietyNow.Ng. learned.

Insiders claim vague reasons were given for the payment of the “promotion fees”.

Those who should know further insist that the ‘promotion fees” appears only to exist in Yewa North.

“Checks so far revealed that the promotion fees are peculiar to that area’ SocietyNow.Ng.

SocietyNow.Ng’s findings revealed Governor Abiodun did not mention payment of any fee when he gave the directive that a promotion exercise should be done for workers in the employment of the state.
