Obaseki Tells Why He Is “Deeply Saddened”

Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki says he is “deeply saddened.”

The Governor made the disclosure today.

He attributes this development to a recent death.

According to the Governor in a post he made on social media “I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Chief Iguma Aiguobarueghian, father of member-elect of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr) Charity lguodala Aiguobarueghian.

“Pa Aiguobarueghian was a kind, humble and forthright man, who espoused virtues of diligence and hardwork. He was devoted to the development of his immediate community.

He was a good family man and a compassionate father, who raised his children to strive for excellence and honour.

He will be remembered for his love for God and good deeds.

I commiserate with the Aiguobarueghian family and pray that God will grant all the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”
