Native Doctors, Traditional Rulers Cleanse Imo Govt House From Curses Rained By Protesting Widows, Discovery Of Mysterious Coffin

Information made available revealed native doctors and traditional rulers recently stormed the Imo state Government House to cleanse it from what was generally labelled ‘evil spirit’

This development came after protesting widows called on the Governor of the state , Rochas Okorocha.

The protesters allegedly ended up been manhandled and hurled curses and abuses on the state Chief Executive.

A mysterious coffin was alleged discovered at the Government house after the whole drama.

Allegations from loyalists of Governor Okorocha point accusing fingers at Minister of state for Education, Proffesor Viola Onwuliri as the architect of the development.

The occurrence reportedly transpired on Tuesday February 10 2015.

And a week later Tuesday February 17 2015, native doctors and traditional rulers led by Chairman of Ideato Council of Traditional Rulers, Ajaraogu of Ogwume Community, Eze Ethelber arrived the government house to cleanse the place off ‘invoked’ evil spirit.

According to information credited to news breaker National Mirror ‘Pouring the libation, they prayed for divine guidance and protection of Okorocha saying, “Our son, Owelle Okorocha, you did not cheat anyone to come to Government House but were duly elected by the entire Imo people, so no one will hurt you. Fear not, your people are with you and you shall return,” Eze Ajaragu chanted.

The traditional rulers that carried out the exercise are described as mainly from the Governor’s community of Ideato South.

The Minister of state for Education accused of sponsoring the accused widows is from another community, Amuzi in Ahiazu Mbaise.

Both the Governor and Minister belong to different political parties, All Progressives Congress and People’s Democratic Party respectivesly.

And she has reportedly called on the Governor to apologise to the reportedly manhandled widow for ‘encouraging young men to beat up their mothers’.

According to added information from National Mirror, those who partook in the protest refuted claims of bearing coffins to the government house.
