More Trouble For Arik Airline In Drug Trafficking Turbulence As NDLEA Seeks To Redeem Image With Air Tight Investigation

Arik Air is in for more trouble in the drug trafficking turbulence currently buffeting its image- and operation.

Informants disclosed to societynowng.com that anti drug agency that suffered a bloody nose in the development, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency – NDLEA- is attempting to redeem itself with an air tight investigation.

The Arik staffer was apprehended with 20kg of Cocaine with the estimated street value of N110million.

The NDLEA leadership is miffed that the apprehension occurred after the illegal substance was successful transported from Nigeria, especially against the background of revelation the movement of cocaine in the airline has been on for a while.

The apprehended suspect is revealed as another staffer of Arik Airline.

The identity is disclosed as Ikechukwu Chibuzor Oliver.

According to information released by the NDLEA, Oliver is said to work in the catering department of the troubled Airline.

He is said to have made statement confirming his involvement in the 20kg of cocaine found when the Airbus A330 landed.

NDLEA officials are said to have searched the homes of the two arrested suspects in search of more incriminating evidences.

The pilot and other attendants on the Flight W3101 carrier of the 20kg are said to be currently undergoing investigations to determine how wide involvement in the drug trafficking mess spreads.
