Kidnappers Abduct Arisekola’s Son, Saheed In Lagos, Demand N20 Billion Ransom!

News filtering in indicates Saheed, one of the sons of wealthy Islamic leader Aare Arisekola Alao was abducted in Lagos on Friday, February 18, 2011.

The incident reportedly transpired in Ikoyi Lagos around 7.30 p.m.

Sources divulged that the gentleman was taken by force at his office.

The perpetrators reportedly posed as customers at his business place.

He is listed as a dealer in computer software.

And to make their motive clear for all, insiders claimed that those behind the move have hinted the victim’s family of their demand.

They are said to be asking for twenty billion naira before Saheed can be released.

Patriarch of the family and influential Nigerian, Aare Arisekola is said to have embraced the options of involvement of police in resolving the matter.

Crack detectives are said to be stealthily working on getting Saheed out of the kidnappers den as soon as possible.

They are said to be taking into cognizance the option that the incident might not be an ordinary kidnapping.

The father of the victim is one of the key actors in the political happenings of Oyo State.

Though it is confirmed that the matter is being handled on a low profile level at press time- it is not clear whether negotiation with the Kidnappers is still on.
