Former Governor James Ibori has chosen his presidential candidate.

And not only this, he has also pitched his tent with his choice.

And not only that as well, the Ex-Delta state Chief Executive Governor who served a prison term for corruption conviction abroad is quietly lobbying stakeholders to support his man.

And no…he is not supporting the re-election bid of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Rather, he is staying a true party man siding with one of the possible aspirants to emerge candidate of the People’s Democratic Party.

Ibori is supporting Atiku Abubarkar sources disclosed.

And has thrown his full weight behind the man he has “good history with”.

Flash back!…Ibori was Governor of Delta state when Atiku was Vice President.

The then very influential Ibori strongly mobilized for Atiku to dump then President Olusegun Obasanjo and contest for the number on position as second term beckons.

The deed was almost done until Atiku allowed “sentiments” sway him and failed to see the plot through.

The political scars inflicted by Obasanjo on all those who partook in that misadventure- when he secured re election – are very visible on all the players involved.

But away from the pains of the past, it appears Ibori’s faith in Atiku making a good president remains unshaken,

And he has obviously put action to thoughts as he quietly helps the former Vice President to amass support in yet another attempt at becoming the number one citizen of Nigeria.
