And they have become particularly notorious on a particular Lagos State.
Sources identified the ‘’hot zone’’ as Bankole, a street in Oregun.
Societyow.ng gathered that cars parked unattended to and those of residents without proper security are the targets of the shady characters.
Many are said to have fallen victims of this ‘’crime’’.
Residents and business owners operating in the area are said to be at a loss about how to put a stop to the anomaly.
A resident confirmed this development with message to a popular community oriented programme on Radio Station Bond F.M today, Tuesday August 18, 2020 pleading for help from the government to curb the ‘’menace’’ of the brain box pilferers.
