How Troops Rescued Abducted Victims In Swift Response

Troops of Sector 2 Operation FANSAN YAMMA deployed in Anka Local Government Area Zamfara State have successfully rescued abducted persons following a swift and decisive response to a terrorist attack along the Anka–Gadan Manya Road.

On 4 September 2026, the troops while conducting routine patrol observed armed bandits attacking two individuals traveling on a motorcycle.

Troops immediately mobilized and rushed to the location. On arrival at the scene the attackers fled into the surrounding terrain upon and abandon their captives

In the wake of the incident, security forces have intensified operations in the general , conducting aggressive patrols to deny criminal elements any freedom of movement and to ensure the continued safety of local residents.
