Fatoyinbo To Step Aside As COZA Lead Pastor In Face Of Huge Protest Over Rape Allegation
Labule Thomas
Biodun Fatoyinbo is about to step down as lead Pastor at Commonwealth Of Zion Assembly.
This development is said to be in the face of growing protest, on and offline, against maintaining his status in the face of allegation of rape.
Busola, the wife of Singer Timi Dakolo accused Fatoyinbo of rape in an interview.
The development opened a floodgate of allegations of sexual abuse against the COZA pastor by other alleged victims.
The leaders at COZA initially maintain a sit tight approach with their lead pastor.
But as the protesters storm the Church today – in Abuja and Lagos – in a move that threatens widely publicised special program “7 Days Of Glory”, sources disclosed the decision to make Fatoyinbo step down appears inevitable.
“It appears the program will be shifted as well” a sourcw stated.
