Faleke Announces Death Of APC In Kogi State…And Provides Reasons

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, James Abiodun Faleke has announced the death of the party in Kogi state.

Faleke a serving member of the National Assembly on the platform of the party was a deputy governorship candidate in the state.

Though the party is in control of the state government through Governor Yahaya Bello, the party chieftain asserts it can not deliver the state for re-election seeking President Muhammadu Buhari.

Faleke made the assertions in reaction recent statements credited to Governor Bello informing the President he would deliver Kogi state in the forthcoming election.

Countering the position, Faleke in a press statement claim Bello has killed APC in Kogi state.

Maintaining that it is the height of deceit for Bello who owes several months salaries and pensions and cannot provide basic infrastructure to be giving the President false hope of delivering the state in 2019.

Faleke specifically stated ‘’ “The question is, will President Buhari contest? If yes, will he win Kogi with Yahaya Bello as the chief campaigner? The answer is No. This is because he has killed the APC in the state, thereby stripping us of critical campaign issues in the state.”
