Electricity Company Cuts Off Late Lamidi Adedibu’s Home Over Unpaid Bills!

Integrated Energy Distribution and Marketing Company Limited has cut off the expanse home of late political warlord, Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu from its services.

The company is in charge of Electricity distribution in Ibadan and its environs.

The decision to suspend distribution of electricity to the Molete home of the later Adedibu is said to have roots in major huge debt.

The development is said to over a year old now.

The service was suspended over a one Million naira debt societynowng.com learnt.

Societynowng learnt that the wife of the late installer of political office holders in Oyo state- Bose, some of his children and family members live in the expanse compound.

They are said to rely on goodwill gestures of diesel and petrol gifts to power their appliances.

Added revelations have that the widow of the feared street figure who unseated a Governor is working underground to have the bills paid and main electricity supply restored.

She is said to have paid almost half of the electricity debt at press time.

Until his demise, the late Adedibu was one of the most feared and powerful politician in Oyo state – and its environs.

His home decided the fate of all political office holders in the state and his pronouncements were law.

A staunch member of the People’s Democratic Party his large than life image attracted favour seekers, influence peddlers and people of all shades and hues to his home on a twenty fours basis.

He died on June 11 2008 and ever since his wife, children and other dependants have had it tough in the face of accusations of abandonment by the associates and friends of the late political and street figure

Four years after his death, news broke out his wife – Bose was pawning her valuables to make ends meet.
