“Do We Have Another First Lady?” Entertainers Ask On Stage As Bimbola Fashola Towers Above Hubby’s Performance Troubles As Super Minister At Yaw’s Shalanga!

Sunday May 29 2016, Master entertainer and Radio personality, Yaw (real names Steve Onu) staged a talk of a talk of the town show whose memory still linger.

The show which held at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels Lagos was package of myriads talking points.

And one of the major stand out was the huge recognition former First lady, Abimbola Fashola got.

The wife of former governor and minister contending with bad press of below expectation performance with his new tasks rose far and beyond husband woes at the event tagged ‘’Shalanga’’ (Pit Latrine).

Abimbola Fashola, while her husband reigned as two term governor of Lagos state gave tremendous support with behind the scene acts of kindness and appearances at this and that events staged by entertainers.

Her role complemented her hubby’s as the best performing governor of his period.

Babatunde Fashola was the poster boy of his political party.

But the tide is changed as regards public perception of the former governor.

He currently contends with bad press with roots in performance issues as he battles with solutions to embedded problems of ministries of Power, Works and Housing at a go.

But what played out at the Yaw’s Shalanga however proved that despite her hubby’s perception problems and public vilification especially as regards increase in electricity tarrif, former Lagos first lady Abimbola Fashola still retains her appeal.

‘’she towers far high and above her husband’s present problem at the show’’ a source stated.

The hugely attended show staged by Yaw is annual event that makes use of music, jokes and mini drama to address lingering national issues.

Reigning street king Olamide led other enthralling musical acts to pleasure audience at the show that set new parameters for outdoor enjoyment.
