Oil mogul, Ifeanyi Ubah is out of detention.

He was released today after weeks in detention.

The Capital Oil Boss was arrested for allegedly fraudulently selling petroleum products belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation without permission.

The petroleum products valued in the region of billions of naira were kept in tank farm belonging to the Ubah’s oil firm.

The Department of State Service (DSS) investigating the development as a case of economic sabotage had arrested Ubah and kept him in detention for weeks as part of fact finding processes.

Ubah’s aides and associates mounted futile attempts – including court actions – to secure his release.

But the DSS eventually let him go today in manner in which details remain sketchy.

But Ubah’s “people” claim “unconditional”.
