Brothers In All-Out War To Become Gov’s Main Man

Two brothers are engulfed in what has been labeled an all-out war to gain the trust of a governor.

The feud is said to have degenerated to the point of unleashing political thugs on each other.

“One of them was recently thoroughly beaten in a fresh episode of their face-offs,” according to those familiar with the discord.

Sources disclosed that the brothers, who have a more popular family member “in the national space,” are feuding in a tussle for political supremacy.

“But what is really at stake is the trust and support of the governor of their state,” insiders revealed.

The governor is trying to establish a stronghold on the politics of the state and is planting his men across key areas as part of efforts to move out of the larger-than-life shadow of his predecessor.

“Since the brothers are from the same area, the fight between them is over who is recognized as the governor’s main person in their zone,” observers noted.

The are from a south west state popular for favouring a delicacy that requires “extra-strength” to prepare.

Although interventions have been made for peace between the estranged brothers, insiders say they have refused to be reconciled—at press time.
