An interesting drama played out recently with Honeywell Group Oba Otudeko at the center of it all.

The date was Thursday, February 6, 2018.

And the venue was the hearing of the N5.5billion debt Ecobank claims Otudeko’s company Anchorage Nigeria Limited owes.

Otudeko was summoned by the court to come testify in the matter.

Before and after the “court business” was conducted for the day and the case adjourned to February 14 2018, information available revealed Otudeko’s bodyguards turned him to “Lagbaja” (Mysterious man) to prevent cameramen and photographers from capturing his entry and exit.

Information available has it, the bodyguards quickly surrounded the billionaire and formed a body shield around him. They went as far as raising documents and papers over his head to prevent an aerial shot.

Sources disclosed the business man’s associates joined the bodyguards to beef up the numbers of bodies shielding him.

An enterprising cameraman who attempted to break the rank ended up in a scuffle with some of the bodyguards – while the others quickly shuffled Otudeko into a waiting Range Rover – outside the court premises – which zoomed off immediately.
