Bishop David Oyedepo, Senior Pastors In Marathon Mid Night Meetings, Consider Providing Arms For Volunteers In Security Beef Up Strategy At Winners Chapel Ahead Yearly Programme, Shiloh

Shiloh, the yearly gathering of worshippers – and other interested indviduals – at Christian ministry Living Faith Church World Wide, more popularly known as Winners Chapel is here.

The 2014 edition with the theme ‘Heaven On Earth’ which starts on Tuesday, December 9 to Saturday December 13 holds at usual ground, the Ota Ogun state head office of the church.

And as part of preparation towards a successful hosting sources confirmed preacher in charge of the popular ministry, Bishop David Oyedepo and his senior pastors have been engulfed in marathon meetings.

Sources on ground confirm the deliberations usually take place in the midnight daily.

‘they usually start at about 12mid night and talk on till past 1.a.m….at most it ends at about 1.30 am or minutes to 2.a.m’ an insider disclosed.

The source further disclosed ‘sure, there were late night meetings before now, but not of this frequency or this particular set of people’.

Further revelations have it the happenstance is not uncommon when the yearly programme looms.

Societynowng.com learnt the midnight deliberations centres on specifics of staging a hit free Shiloh Programme.

Further digs however revealed what is uncommon is the manner the security arrangement is taking.

The Bishop and his meetings partakers are said to be exploring arm volunteers into the security unit of the church as part of beefing up security measures.

Increased revelations made to societynowng.com has it that the church has a security unit made up of volunteers who are trained security personnel.

These individuals are said to ‘police’ the church premises during programmes.

Sources disclosed that in the face of the growing insecurity, the Bishop and his advisers are considering increasing numbers of armed volunteers to compliment regular operatives requested from the Nigerian Police Force.

The move is explained as part of attempts to provide sieve free security measures all through the 5days programme that attracts many from far and there.

It is not clear whether the increased arms provision move has been approved by the midnight deliberations at press time.
