The burial of Princess Margaret Obaigbena, the mother of the media mogul with a very long reach, Nduka Obaigbena is underway in Delta State.

The event planned to be a mother of all burials – in recent times – started with a commemorative birthday and day of tribute on August 16, 2022, at Owa-Oyibu, Delta State.

SocietyNow.Ng gathered that after making free flights available to guests, Obaigbena the brain behind revolutionary ThisDay Newspaper and Arise TV has gone ahead to erect a 30-bedroom apartment to take care of his invitees.

The information available revealed that each apartment is furnished “to taste” and reserved for the use of “privileged guests”.

Added information has it that the 30-bedroom apartment is outside of the booking of hotels and engagements of private residences for expected guests at the burial with Lying – In – State and Wake Keeping pegged for August 19, 2022 at the Obaigbena Family Compound, Delta State, and Funeral Service and private burial scheduled for August 20, 2022, with an outing service earmarked for the next day – August 21, 2022.

Insiders say, senior government officials, chairman, and heads of banks, captains of industries and influencers of social norms, and shapers of government policies will grace the burial of the 88year old who died on June 16, 2022.

A former special adviser to the three former governors of Delta State, Obaigbena’s mother was a Dame of the Anglican church and, her burial in Owa-Oyibu, Delta state is planned to be very colorful with popular entertainers home and abroad billed to attend as guests and performers.
