Amongst the names disclosed to societynowng.com said to be in register of victims are A – listers such as Musa Danjuma, Seyi Tinubu, Dapo ‘’Jojo’’ Balogun, Oando boss- Wale Tinubu, Aliko Dangote and his friend, Femi Otedola and wife- Nana.

Information available reveals the listed well known Nigerians fell target of what the police have identified as ‘’blackmail syndicate’’.
According to information available, the arrest of Babatunde Oyebode, fingered as the figure behind news website – Naijagistlive blew the lid off the ordeals of the celebrities.

Babatunde was reportedly picked up by men of the Special Fraud Unit Ikoyi, after his victims wrote a litany of petitions against him for his antics against them on his platform.

He is accused of ‘’milking them of money’’ for published materials on his site to be taken down.

Accused of operating over 20 bank accounts, police sources claim his unravelled set up points to a well orchestrated operation involving other individuals.

According to an insider ‘’ incriminating evidences were found on his laptop and phone, linking him with a popular blogger based in Europe as a member of the blackmail gang’’

Further information cementing the blackmail theory have it that ‘’they use paypal to collect money from their victims, which makes it extremely difficult to track’’

Added revelation glimpsed from ongoing investigation of Oyebode currently detained at SFU, Ikoyi revealed that efforts are being made to arrest his local collaborators.

Described as a secondary school dropout and hacker, Oyebode however claimed on his arrest claimed just to be a ‘’web designer for the site’’ in question.

He insisted his number which served as link to the platform was pure for advertisement purposes.
