2027: Gov Eno Declares APC Will Crush All Obstacles As Akpabio Calls Him God’s Gift To Akwa Ibom

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress, APC, will overcome all obstacles and win the 2027 general elections in the state.

Pastor Eno, who is the APC governorship candidate for the election, spoke during a special dedication service for the party’s 2027 campaign council and candidates at the International Christian Worship Centre, Uyo.

He said the decision to commence the party’s campaign preparations with prayers was an acknowledgement of God’s supremacy in human affairs.

“We may have our plans, we may have our strategies, we may have our structures, we may have human credibility, but ultimately, it is God who directs the affairs of life and determines the outcome of every endeavour,” he said.

The governor, citing Proverbs 3:5-6, said the party was committing its campaign plans and candidates to God’s direction.

He expressed confidence that the APC would deliver President Bola Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, himself and other party candidates in the 2027 elections.

The Governor, however, urged members of the campaign council and candidates to demonstrate humility, unity and discipline, warning against personal interests and disagreements that could undermine their collective responsibility.

In his remarks, Akpabio described Eno as a special gift from God to Akwa Ibom State, commending his leadership for promoting peace and unity.

The Senate President also urged APC candidates and campaign officials to prioritise reconciliation over resentment, wisdom over arrogance and service over self-glorification.

Earlier, Archbishop Emma Isong urged the party to embrace commitment to God, courage and unity as it prepared for the elections.

The service featured prayers and dedication of the candidates and campaign council members.
