“With a heavy heart and submission to the will of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mother, who returned to her Creator on October 18 after a long battle with illness,” she wrote.
Adunni, 50, is a Nigerian actress and model whose father is Yoruba.
The actress did not disclose further details about her mother’s illness or funeral arrangements at the time of the announcement.
