Curses, Abuses As “Hungry” Kogi Workers Throng Gov Yahaya Bello’s Newly Built “Magnificent Bullet Proof” Mansion

Fresh revelations have it that there is a growing agitation in Kogi state, as news of Governor Yayaha Bello’s new mansion spreads.

Unpaid workers are thronging the Okene site of the newly opened construction of the state helmsman described in fancy words such as “fitted with very expensive furnitures”, ” jaw-dropping architectural masterpiece” “gigantic house” “palatial bulletproof mansion” “interior and exterior decorations imported from oversea”.

And they are abusing and cursing the Governor for exhibiting such a level of flamboyance while workers battle economic hardship in the face of unpaid salaries.

Checks revealed the suicide attempts of some, and outright committing of the suicide of others have been linked to hunger and inability to cope with the disgrace of debts all linked to unpaid salaries by the Government – all passionately denied by Bello’s man whenever it gets into media space.

But for disregarding the workers plight and going ahead to put up, as well as open a grand flamboyance of a master building, sources disclose workers who throng the site to see “things” for selves are heaping abuses and curses on the governor who “forsake their needs” to satisfy his “whim” sources claim.
